That is how \u0130nci Di\u015f (Dentinci) treats international patients at our Istanbul Zeytinburnu clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want a real plan, the first step is not booking. It is sending three photos and your most recent panoramic X-ray (or CBCT, if you have one). A doctor reviews your case <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Send your X-ray and 3 photos, receive a doctor-reviewed plan within 48 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-dental-implants-in-turkey-are-for\"><strong>Who dental implants in Turkey are for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are a likely candidate if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; You are missing one or more teeth, or your remaining teeth are failing and a long-term restorative plan is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; You can travel to Istanbul for at least one short trip (usually 5\u20137 days), and ideally a second trip 3\u20136 months later for the final prosthesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; You are willing to follow a soft-diet protocol during osseointegration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; You have, or are willing to obtain, a recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-they-are-not-for\"><strong>Who they are not for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will tell you honestly if you are not ready. You may need preparation before implants if you have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Active gum disease that must be stabilised first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Heavy uncontrolled bruxism (clenching\/grinding) without a plan to manage it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Insufficient bone with no realistic graft or sinus-lift pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Uncontrolled diabetes, recent radiotherapy of the jaws, or certain medications (bisphosphonates) that change risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If any of these apply, your plan will say so before you fly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-dental-implants-actually-means\"><strong>What &#8220;dental implants&#8221; actually means<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A dental implant is a titanium (occasionally zirconia) screw placed into the jawbone. After 3\u20136 months of healing \u2014 <em>*osseointegration*<\/em> \u2014 a connector (abutment) and crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis is attached. The implant replaces the missing root; the crown replaces the visible tooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three things determine outcome more than anything else:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.<strong>Diagnosis<\/strong> \u2014 adequate bone, healthy gums, controlled bite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Surgical execution<\/strong> \u2014 primary stability, angulation, sterile protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. <strong>Prosthetic desig<\/strong>n \u2014 occlusion, hygiene access, material choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a clinic quotes you without seeing a CBCT, they are guessing on point 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"number-of-visits-and-time-in-istanbul\"><strong>Number of visits and time in Istanbul<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Most implant cases require <strong>two trips<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Visit 1  : 5 to 7 days:<\/strong> examination, CBCT, extractions if needed, implant surgery, temporary teeth, suture removal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Healing phase : 3 to 6 months at home:<\/strong> osseointegration. We check in remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Visit 2 : 5 to 7 days:**<\/strong> abutments, scans, final crown or bridge fitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Single-implant simple cases can sometimes finish in one extended trip; full-arch and grafted cases almost always need two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"recovery-and-aftercare\"><strong>Recovery and aftercare<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Healing is well-defined, not mysterious:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Days 1\u20133: mild swelling, soft diet, ice intermittently, prescribed antibiotics and analgesics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Days 4\u201314: rapid improvement; sutures removed at day 7\u201310.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Weeks 2\u201312: routine cleaning around the surgical site; no hard or chewy foods on the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Months 3\u20136: osseointegration; remote check-ins at week 1, week 4, month 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you fly home you will receive: an implant passport (brand, model, diameter, length, lot numbers), your CBCT and intraoral scan files, a written treatment summary, and a bridge letter to your local dentist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"risks-and-limitations\"><strong>Risks and limitations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No clinic worldwide can promise 100% success. Published implant survival is around 95\u201398% at 10 years in healthy patients; lower in smokers and in cases with bone or periodontal compromise. Real risks include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Failed osseointegration (rare, but does happen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Peri-implantitis if hygiene maintenance is poor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Sinus involvement on upper-posterior cases \u2014 managed by graft or sinus lift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Inferior alveolar nerve proximity on lower-posterior cases \u2014 managed by CBCT planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will write these into your plan if they apply to you.
