What is Pediatric Orthodontics?

Pediatric orthodontics deals with guiding the growth of the jaws and the eruption of teeth in children and teenagers. By identifying problems early, such as narrow arches, crossbites, severe crowding or harmful habits, it is often possible to prevent more complex issues later in life and make any future treatment simpler and shorter. Early assessment does not always mean early braces, but it allows us to choose the right moment to intervene.

How the Process Works

In some cases, we can start an early intervention in Istanbul and then coordinate with a trusted dentist or orthodontist in the home country for regular follow up. Our priority is to support healthy development of the jaws and teeth while keeping the experience positive for young patients and practical for their families.
